I was raised in the Skykomish River valley, located about 40 miles NE of Seattle Washington in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. I started photographing at a young age - mostly snapshots of friends, family, and landscapes. In April of 2002 I received a "real" camera (35mm Nikon SLR) as a gift. The clarity of those new images and my newfound control over the photographic process turned my long-time hobby into a bit of an obsession. I soon started taking photography classes including a photography certificate program at the University of Washington in Seattle.

I focus on landscapes, waterways, abstract photography, and the unexpected results of candid lifestyle photography.
